1. Acceptance and Eligibility
These Terms govern your use of Prolekh’s website, accounts, plans, AI-assisted learning tools, answer evaluation, practice, study materials, audio features, and support. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you cannot legally agree, a parent or lawful guardian must act where permitted and required.
2. Account Responsibility
- Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure.
- Use the account only for yourself unless a feature expressly permits otherwise.
- Notify Support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Do not share passwords or OTPs, impersonate others, or use another person’s payment method without authorization.
3. Plans, Credits, Limits, and Access
Features, quotas, credits, generation frequency, validity, exam coverage, and renewal terms depend on the plan or offer shown at purchase. Credits and limits are service entitlements, not money, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash unless required by law. Unused access may expire with the plan. We may correct obvious pricing, credit, or configuration errors and will provide an appropriate remedy where a completed purchase is materially affected.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not copy, resell, scrape, automate abusive requests, bypass plan or security controls, upload unlawful or infringing material, introduce malicious code, interfere with other users, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use outputs to facilitate cheating, harm, deception, or illegal activity.
5. Your Content
You retain rights you lawfully hold in content you submit. You grant Prolekh a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, reproduce, transform, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the requested services. You are responsible for having permission to upload the content and for avoiding unnecessary sensitive information.
6. AI and Educational Disclaimer
AI-generated explanations, evaluations, recommendations, summaries, and audio are supporting learning tools. They may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect and do not replace official syllabi, notifications, answer keys, qualified teachers, or professional advice. Prolekh does not guarantee exam selection, rank, score, or any particular outcome.
7. Intellectual Property
The platform, branding, software, interfaces, and Prolekh-provided learning content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. A plan gives you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use included content for personal study during the applicable access period; it does not transfer ownership.
8. Payments, Refunds, and Third-Party Services
Payments and certain functions may be handled by authorized service providers under their own terms. You are responsible for applicable charges and taxes shown at checkout. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.
9. Availability, Changes, and Suspension
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, secure, update, replace, or discontinue features. We may restrict or terminate access for fraud, abuse, non-payment, legal requirements, safety risks, or material breach. Where reasonably possible, changes affecting paid access will be handled fairly and communicated appropriately.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Prolekh is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, exam outcomes, decisions based solely on generated content, third-party failures, or loss caused by misuse or unauthorized account access. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing Law, Changes, and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes handled by courts or forums having lawful jurisdiction. We may update these Terms prospectively; material changes will be communicated appropriately.
